OSU

The OSU skatepark is located on the west campus basketball courts off of Kenny Rd. between Lane Ave. and Kinnear Rd. This Park offers several quarterpipes, rails, grindboxes, a picnic table, a couple of bank ramps, a small mini, a couple of large launch ramps, and of course, the big blue miniramp.

As they currently sit, the ramps need to be resurfaced. The wood has seen a hard winter and is starting to come apart. Most of the ramps are still skatable if you keep a careful eye out for rough spots and cracks in the ground. The park is being kept up though, which means that there should be improvements soon.

Rough spots aside, this park has some of the nicest options in the area. Many of the obstacles can be moved around to your liking with a little effort. The demographic here tends to be a little older as well, and the park rarely gets crowded, so there is lots of room to skate most of the time.

This is a great park to drop by in the middle of the day if you can. Once the ramps get resurfaced, it will be a little easier to skate as well.
